The Guardians defeated the Angels, 8-6, on Saturday and four-3 on Sunday (May 14) to take two out of 3 games of their weekend collection at Progressive Field. The Sunday sport noticed Josh Naylor hit a 3-run homer within the eighth inning, his 1/3 in three days.

After the Angels deliberately walked José Ramírez to stand him, Naylor drove a 2-zero pitch from reliever Carlos Estévez over the wall in right for his latest overdue-inning heroics.

On Friday, he smashed a solo homer to provide Cleveland a 4-three lead, even as on Saturday night time Naylor’s 3-run highlighted a six-run inning. Naylor’s homer also became the reason for Angels starter Patrick Sandoval’s (3-2) loss, who held the Guardians to five hits in 7 2/three innings whilst matching Guardians starter Tanner Bibee.
