Video Shows That After A Traffic Stop, Police Kicked, Pepper Sprayed, And Beat Tyre Nichols

Video film delivered by the city of Memphis on Friday shows that during a traffic stop on January 7, officials tased, pepper-splashed, and beat 29-year-old Tire Nichols gravely.

The recording is parted into four recordings. It comes from a SkyCop camera and officials’ body cameras. Police can be heard yelling at Nichols to escape his vehicle and hauling him out of the vehicle forcibly. Police and legal counselors for Nichols’ family have said that the video is “totally shocking,” “disturbing,” and “inappropriate.”

Nichols is being moved to the ground by that official’s hands. As Nichols shouts “Mother,” the camera goes dull, and the police continue to advise him to show his hands. The camera feed goes dim for a couple of moments while a battle is continuing and Nichols calls out for his mom once more. It seems like a man is groaning and attempting to shout. “Brother, slowly inhale,” says somebody. A couple of moments later, the body camera was as yet impeded, so an official said, “That mother lover on something. He went through traffic and all that ceaselessly.”
